About the winemaker
Vincent is at the forefront of high-class Muscadet. He is a firm believer that his gneiss and gabbro soil paired with extensive lees aging in tank and barrel will produce wines beautifully complex that do justice to his old vines. His “Je t’aime” cuvée is made partly with bought-in grapes from a friend in the Ardèche and was first made in 2017 when the harvest failed in his part of the world and he had very few grapes of his own. Monnières-Saint Fiacre and Gorges spend more than 24 months on the lees before release and are brilliant wines, about as good as Muscadet can be.
