Morgon 2021 - Domaine Thévenet (🇫🇷)

About the winemaker
Charly is the son of famous Morgon producer Jean-Paul Thévenet and was therefore exposed to a more natural viticulture from a young age. Destined to be a vigneron he spent time working at various estates, including for Marcel Lapierre, until he
established himself in Régnié in 2007. Here he looks after old vines on granite soils and produces beautiful pure Beaujolais. A mixture of concrete tank and old Burgundy barrels are used for élevage. The wines are neither fined nor filtered and are the essence of the land from which they come.
