A wine which is miles ahead of the mass-produced versions. Tropical and fruit notes with a fresh and persistent structure. 

About the winemaker
Carlos refurbished his family's old farmhouse in 2008, just east of Porto, and set about planting his first vineyard. The vines have excellent solar exposure, a unique terroir bordered by the Tamega River, and Carlos' organic/sustainable approach to

the farming coaxes the best out of the grapes. He has also been fortunate to find some other vineyards in the area which he works but does not ( yet ) own. Our Edinburgh-based importers (Element) visited on a rainy day in October 2022 and were immediately impressed with the high standards of viticulture here and also the approach to wine making.
